Baby photography in Hampshire
It was a train journey down to Hampshire for today’s baby and family photo shoot, to the town of Havant on the south coast. I’ve visited Havant a few times before - once for a family photo shoot and twice when I ran the Portsmouth half marathon - so I was really pleased to be visiting again, it’s a lovely part of the world.
It was wonderful to meet Vicky, her husband Andrew and their beautiful daughter Lillie-Mae for their baby and family photo shoot. When I arrived at the house, slightly befuddled after a snooze on the train from London and looking forward to a cup of coffee, I was greeted by the most incredible smile from Lillie-Mae, a real show shopper of a grin that really lit up the room from her position sitting on the floor of her playroom. I knew immediately that I was in for a treat and I was not disappointed.
We had such a great time. Vicky and Andrew's Hampshire home was absolutely stunning and the wonderful interior decoration made for such a great location for our photo shoot. We moved between rooms to keep things interesting for Lillie-Mae and also to utilise as many of the lovely interiors as possible, from the delicate wallpaper in the playroom to the wonderful chairs in the drawing room and the great light in the parents' bedroom.
We had a wonderful morning together and I am absolutely thrilled with the images. Vicky had some beautiful outfits for Lillie-Mae and I’m sure she will enjoy playing in her tutu for a long time to come – it's such a pretty skirt.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our baby and family photo shoot in Hampshire, I do hope you enjoy them.

Baby and family portrait photography in Balham, SW London
Today's blog post features another beautiful baby from our family portrait photography session in Balham in South West London.
I had such a wonderful morning with Vicki and Jon photographing their delightful baby Thomas - he is such a cutie, so alert and interested in everything that was going on around him. We spent a great morning together - it’s always lovely when I get to spend so much of a photoshoot laughing.
The weather was kind to us on the day, so we managed to capture a mixture of both indoor and outdoor pictures in our photo shoot. We started our morning capturing snuggly pictures of Thomas on Vicki and Jon’s bed – it's so lovely when you can photograph babies all warm and cosy, and Thomas had a fine Scandinavian-style onsie that would be the envy of many a grown up!
We then wrapped-up warm and headed outdoors for a few pictures on Clapham Common, making use of the lovely winter light and the interesting backgrounds that the trees provided.
I do hope you enjoy these pictures from our family and baby portrait session in Balham, London SW12. If you would like me to visit and capture some pictures of your own family, please contact us - we would be delighted to hear from you.

Baby portrait photography in Greenwich
It is always a real pleasure to have a shoot local to me in Blackheath, and so I was thrilled to jump on the bus down to Greenwich to visit Anita and Martin for some baby and family portrait photography.
I knew as soon as I arrived that I was in for a treat, as Erin gave me the biggest grin and our portrait session got off to a wonderful start. Erin was such a pleasure to photograph - such a happy, smiley baby and we spent the whole morning laughing and joking. It was wonderful to be surrounded by such a happy family.
We spent the first party of the portrait session at home, as babies are often at their best photographed indoors at this time of year when it is still pretty chilly outdoors. It was great fun, with Erin rolling around on her parents' bed and having quite an exciting chat with the baby in the mirror.
Then, after a quick nap for Erin and coffee for the grown-ups, we wrapped-up warm and braved the cold as the light was beautiful for a quick trip to Greenwich Park for some outdoor family photographs. Greenwich Park is one of my favorite places in the world - growing up in Blackheath, it has such wonderful memories for me and is also a regular haunt now both for photo shoots, and also for running. The flower garden was at its best, bathed in astonishing low wintery light and the trees providing a wonderful backdrop.
Here are a few favorites from our session, I hope you enjoy them. If you would like me to visit and capture pictures of your own family, please contact us - we would be delighted to hear from you.

Baby photography in Crouch End
I recently spent a wonderful day with my good friend Julie in Crouch End in North London capturing some baby and family photographs. We took a slightly different approach for our photo shoot and instead of having a morning dedicated to taking pictures, I followed Julie and William’s normal routine and photographed them throughout the whole day, capturing a 'Day in the Life' photographic record.
We had lovely relaxed start to the day at home, followed by a Baby Sensory class in Crouch End. I’d never been to a baby class before and it was such great fun - all the babies (and mummies) seemed to have a wonderful time playing with colourful toys and textures during the different activities.
We then visited Giraffe in Muswell Hill for lunch, before a stroll home through Alexandra Palace while William had a snooze in the buggy. This was great as Julie was able to show me lots of wonderful places and point out all the best Japanese restaurants – knowledge I shall be putting to good use when we move to Crouch End in April!
When then played some more at home and captured some more pictures with Dad as well, before I headed home. It was such a lovely day and I really enjoyed taking pictures in such interesting places.
I hope you enjoy looking at this set of baby and family photographs taken on location in Crouch End, North London as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Twin baby photo shoot in Wandsworth
Twins are always such fun for baby photography sessions. I always think it must be such fun to be a twin - a ready made playmate for life. I’m close in age to my next brother up (only fifteen months between us) and that is amazing, being a twin must be even more fun.
These little ones were so incredibly cute and I was so pleased that Alison and Martin had chosen me to visit them at their lovely Wandsworth home for some baby and family photographs.
We had such a lovely morning, the twins were relaxed and smiley and we chatted as Alison and Martin played with them, eliciting all those wonderful little smiles that babies only have for their parents – there was such a lot of love in the room, it was wonderful.
Here are a few of my favorite photographs from our baby and family photography session in Wandsworth. Ihope you like them.
