Family photography in Cambridge
As regular readers of the blog will know most of my work is with younger children so I was thrilled to be asked by Mark to photograph his family to celebrate his wife's 50th birthday. It is always so much fun to photograph older children and this was no exception. We met at the beautiful Clare College in Cambridge where Mark and his wife were married and spent a couple of hours walking around and taking pictures. It was great fun.
Here are a few of my favorites, I hope you like them

It is always a particular treat to have a shoot that is close to home, even better when I can walk to work and so I was very excited to book in Tamir's family photography, only five minutes down the road.
Samuel was an absolute joy, so much fun to photograph. We had a great time and here are a few favorites from the session

Family photography in Cambridge
I first photographed Fran and James many years ago now when I was still photographing weddings with my boyfriend, Cambridge wedding photographer Tom Catchesides Since then I have seen them again to take Roker's portrait when he was nine months old and so I was delighted to be invited back to meet Casper and help everyone celebrate Roker's birthday. It was a great day to take pictures, we started with family shots, and then the grandparents arrived before the influx of the rest of the family and cousins. I stayed for the most amazing lunch - Fran's brother had been to Billingsgate market in the morning to get fresh fish and it was one of the most amazing bbqs I have ever had. Just thinking about it makes me hungry.
Here are a few favorite pictures - check out the size of the fish!
