I jumped on an early train and zipped across three counties to meet up with this family for their photo shoot. We had a wonderful day - getting outside and making the most of the weather and the beautiful garden. The children were an absolute joy, so much fun and full of laughter. I particularly liked the sunken trampoline, dug into the lawn. I have heard of this before but it was the first time I had seen it done, worked brilliantly and great for photographs.
Here are my favorites from the morning

I can't believe it is already mid september and I am almost a month behind on some of my blog posts. This is the first post of three from a shoot earlier in the summer. I spent three days with Genevieve and her family taking pictures at their holiday home. It is something I do every year and is one of the high points of my summer. This kind of extended photo shoot is great fun as we get to capture a real sense of the every day for the children. I love the shot you get as everyone relaxes and has fun from playing on the beach to playing on the wii and sitting in the helicopter at the fair, who doesn't love the fair?
If you are interested in booking an extended family shoot do get in contact to discuss your thoughts and I can arrange a quote for you.
Here are a few favorites from day 1. More to come...

It seems slightly crazy to be posting summer shots taken on the beach on the last day of September but I have a blog backlog and these pictures are so lovely I don't want to miss them off completely. This is the second day of a summer shoot I did (third day still to come). Wonderful times on the beach, truly the stuff of memories. I love it

For those of you who are looking at the blog for the first time today and are confused as to why we have beach shots posted in October, let me explain. This is the third of three blog posts from an extended family photo shoot in the summer. I have just spread the blog posts out a bit. This is the last day and has lots of my favourite pictures, I hope you enjoy them
