Newborn and child portrait photography in Parsons Green, West London

The best thing about my job as a London-based newborn baby, children's and family photographer is getting to know my clients over a number of years. I was thrilled to visit Agnes to take some newborn portraits of little Ottilie and update the pictures of her beautiful daughter Maia. This is was my fifth visit to the family!

We had a wonderful time in Agnes and Oli's amazing Parsons Green home in Hammersmith and Fulham, taking photographs of the children (and I admit more than a minute was spent admiring the building work and the lovely new features that they have added since my last visit - as I am house hunting myself at the moment, I certainly had kitchen envy!).

The girls were a true pleasure to photograph; little Ottilie is such a lovely baby and Maia is always such great fun. I'm already looking forward to our autumn shoot.

Newborn baby and family portrait photography

One of my favorite things as a children's, baby and family photographer is photographing expanding families. I have known Susie and Stuart for a while now as I photographed their wedding back in the days when I used to photograph weddings.

I photographed Isabel when she was newborn and again a couple of times since then, so I was thrilled to be invited back to take some new photographs for them and meet baby Charlie for his newborn photography session.

We had a great time playing outdoors - and meeting the horse - before coming in and having some indoor time with the children. I am thrilled with the pictures and I hope you will enjoy this set of newborn baby and family portrait photographs as much as I do.

Newborn baby photography in Kensington, London W8

You may remember Ed, Sarah and the beautiful Iona from an earlier blog post this year, when we went out to Kensington Gardens to take some family photographs and some portrait pictures of Iona. We had a wonderful time and created a beautiful album from our day.

So I was thrilled to visit again to welcome Hamish to the family. This time we stayed indoors at Sarah and Ed's beautiful Kensington home for our newborn baby and family portrait shoot, and took lots of pictures of Hamish to record how tiny and cute he was as a newborn baby.

I love photographing tiny newborn babies and capturing all the emotions that surround them; the extraordinary feeling of love and pride and excitement. It was wonderful to see how pleased Iona was with her new baby brother - they are going to have such fun together, and I think my favourite picture of the whole day is Iona working on the welcome message on the family blackboard.

Newborn baby twins portrait session in Kensington and Chelsea, London W8

As a London photographer who specialises in pictures of families, children, babies and newborn babies, I was thrilled to be invited back by Marina and Stephane to take some photographs of the new additions to their family.

I first met Marina and Stephane in the summer when I visited them at their Kensington home for some family photography in West London and some pictures of their beautiful little boy. We had a wonderful time taking lovely relaxed family photographs and portraits at their Kensington home and then in Holland Park W11.

When I visited again recently, it was to meet their two beautiful newborn twins for some photographs that captured them while they were still tiny and newborn. As always, I worked in black and white using natural light to capture lovely timeless photographs of the boys at home in Kensington.

Following on from my recent maternity portrait session with Carol-Anne I visited again to take some newborn baby photographs. I was so excited to meet baby Annabelle, who is simply the cutest little thing. She snoozed happily through the entire photo shoot, occasionally opening one eye to check what was happening and then straight back to the land of zzz...
