Family photo shoot with children and teenagers in Oxford

04Oct

It’s always lovely to receive referrals from my regular clients and I was thrilled when Natasha mentioned my name to her friend Rachel. Rachel invited me to visit her family in Oxford over the summer to take some family photographs to capture this time in their lives before their eldest daughter left for boarding school in London this autumn.

As one of four children myself, I am always thrilled to photograph big families – I love the family dynamic you get with lots of children and I found photographing Rachel’s family a real pleasure and, at times, hilarious as I recognised myself in so many of the youngest daughters actions (yes, it is hard being the youngest in a family game of football!).

We had a wonderful day – a walk first where there was the most amazing bridge that has resulted in one of my favourite family shots of the year and then back to the house for some games in the garden – football, rugby, table tennis – you name it, we played it.

I am so pleased with the pictures and I hope you will enjoy looking at this selection from a family portrait session with teenagers in Oxford.
