Mary and Joe get married

So those of you who know me or who have been following the blog for a while will know that there are two things that I just don't do: photographing in colour and photographing weddings. Those are things that I leave to my wonderful and immensely talented boyfriend Cambridge wedding photographer Tom Catchesides

However, as we all know, rules are there to be broken, but only on special occasions. This was certainly a special occasion. My great friend Mary got married in January and I was thrilled to be able to spend such a special day with her and her lovely new husband Joe taking their pictures.

Mary and I have known each other since we were eleven and she has never looked happier than she did on her wedding day - a truly beautiful bride and Joe looked mighty handsome too. It was a wonderful day at St Swithun's church in Hither Green and then at the Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich.

Congratulations Mary and Joe, I love you both and wish you many many happy years together.
