Beautiful light and a beautiful girl
This was another of those cold but beautiful mornings we have at this time of year and I had a wonderful subject to work with. We has such fun exploring the garden and here are a few favorite shots from the session

Fun with the Charles, Meg and the family
I spent a wonderful morning with Charles, Meg and their family recently. It was one of those cold misty mornings where everything seems grey. Not so the children, wrapped up in coats we hit the garden and spent a wonderful few hours playing baseball and climbing trees. When it got cold we headed indoors for board games and hot drinks, I have so many favorites I have only posted from the outside pictures and even then it might be a contender for biggest blog post ever. I hope you enjoy the pictures

A cold and beautiful morning
It was another freezing cold but beautiful morning when I visited Katie to photograph her son. We wrapped up warm in thick coats and scarfs and went out to play. It was glorious - bright sunshine and the magic of frost. We had a wonderful time and here are a few favorite images

Wild, Wet and Windy
It was a cold, wet morning when I met Samantha and her family - as we left the house it began to drizzle and the clouds loomed overhead. Still, being adventurous souls we decided to keep going and take a trip to the park where we took some pictures before the weather got the better of us. It was wet, it was windy, but as usual the children don't mind a bit. I have always suspected that living on a flight path would be every young boys dream and this shoot confirmed my thoughts, every few minutes his eyes lit up and a magical grin spread over his face. Eventually we had to leave the planes, and the rain and seek shelter and some games indoors. A lovely way to spend the morning

Susie, Ron and the kids
I spent a lovely morning just before Christmas with Susie, Ron and their children. It was a beautiful morning - wonderful chrisp light and frost on the ground and so we headed out to the park. It was also bitterly cold so it wasn't long before we headed home (playing a game or two of hide and seek along the way) and then continued to play at home fortified by mince pies and nice hot coffee. It was a fantastic morning and we all had a great time. Here are a few of my favorite pictures
