So Tom and I are back home and back in the office after a wonderful weekend at the SWPP convention and trade show this weekend.
We had a fantastic time, meeting old friend, making new friends, showing people the wonderful stuff in Light Blue version 3 and, for me, giving a seminar on Children's portraiture.
Thank you so much to everyone who attended and apologies to those who had to sit on the floor or stand at the back for the lack of chairs. Even more apologies to the many who have been in contact to say that they were turned away as the room was so full. I hope to see you all again soon.
Here's a picture (or three pictures stitched together) that Kate took on her iphone ten minutes before the seminar was due to start, we were already a little on the full side....
So we are off to the Largest photographic convention in Europe this week which, luckily for us, is held in London. It is always a fantastic weekend, a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new people.
I will be giving a masterclass at 1pm today on the subject of Children's portraiture which should be great fun. Do come along if you are at the show, it will be a great session packed with loads of information and lots of great slideshows. And, of course, I have Wham Bars to give out...
I jumped on the train to Barnes for this photo shoot with the lovely Harriet and her beautiful family. As soon as I arrived I knew I was going to have a good time as Oscar was full of smiles and explaining to me what we were going to do at the park while I drank my coffee. I wasn't disappointed, we had a great time, playing in the leaves, climbing trees and playing pooh sticks.
Here are a few favorite images
A cold cold day for our photo shoot. Almost too cold to go outside, almost but not quite. We started out indoors and the children were so much fun, I particularly liked Magnus's Spider-Man/Viking look and then we headed out for a bit for a run around and some time on the swings. A great fun morning and I am thrilled with the pictures.
