In an effort to catch up with some of the backlog today is a double blog day. Here are a few pictures from Amanda's headshot session. We had a great time taking pictures and chatting over a couple of hours in London. Here are a few favorites
Last week was an amazing week for me. I flew to Belfast on monday to deliver a seminar at the Calumet store there all day on tuesday. It was a fantastic day and the seminar was very well received. I was then lucky enough to be taken out by some fellow photographers and shown the city before flying to Manchester on wednesday. My Manchester seminar took place on thursday so I got home on friday feeling tired and happy to with a bit of time to get things in line before the Easter holidays started with a shoot this morning.
I have recieved wonderful feedback from the seminars, here are just a few of the kind comments people have emailed me in the last couple of days
'I found it very inspiring'
'I thank you for an excellent seminar that you held in Manchester.I found it very informative, and you as a person very interesting and very entertaining'
'I really did enjoy the seminar at Manchester. It was very well structured and your humorous delivery got the points across in just the right way to keep everyone engaged. The photography was, as always, stunning. Delivered in a thoroughly professional manner and the music choices were great too. The last one actually brought a lump to my throat!'
'Thank you so much for the terrific seminar yesterday,it was lovely to meet the person behind those fab images'
'Just wanted to say thank you for an inspirational day on Tuesday in Belfast. Your vision is really unique.'
I can't wait for the London seminar later in the month. London is sold out although we are planning to put on an additional date (more details to follow). There are still spaces available for Birmingham and Liverpool though, I do hope to see some of you there
I was lucky enough to meet Kate for the first time when she was about eight months old. I still have very fond memories of what was a really wonderful session. So it was with great pleasure that I went to see Kate and her family again recently to take some more pictures of them and also to meet her little brother Daniel.
Daniel is an absolute star, just as cheerful as his older sister and an equal joy to photograph.
We had a wonderful morning playing on the bed and even had a visit from the children's grandparents which is always great fun.
Here are a few favorites, I hope you enjoy them.
The blog has been a bit neglected recently and I apologise. Everything is really busy here as I put the finishing touches on my seminars while also keeping up a busy portrait schedule. It is great fun though and always lovely to have lots on.
This shoot was a fine example, a wonderful morning spent by all running around the garden and playing in the kitchen.
Here are a few favorites from the shoot
I spent a wonderful morning with Alex before I went to Nepal. He is such a sweet baby and so cheerful. When I arrived Helen mentioned that she wanted a picture of Alex looking over her shoulder to match one that she had of herself as a child and Alex was only too happy to oblige as you can see here.
There are so many pictures I love from the shoot, here are a few favorites.
