So, this has been picture of the month all April and I only remembered this morning that I hadn't blogged the shoot. I do apologise for those who have been waiting to see the other snow shots.
We had a lovely, if cold, morning playing in the square. I love the snow and I was so glad to have a chance to go out to play. I hope you enjoy the photographs
I spent a wonderful morning with Luca last week. As we grow up we forget some of the really good things in life and so it was great fun to be reminded about just how much fun can be had rolling repeatedly down a hill. It brought back a lot of memories of visiting national trust properties as a child where my brother and I used to love rolling down the beautifully manicured lawns. I really enjoyed photographing Luca and I am thrilled with the pictures. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot. i hope you enjoy them...
One of the best things about my job is that I get to see my little subjects grow up. The speed with which the little ones change in those first few years is amazing and it is always such a pleasure to watch the characters develop and change over the years.
I was therefore thrilled when Alison rang up and asked if I could hop on the train up north to photograph her boys. I first met Alex and Matty back in 2004 when they were living in London, we had a wonderful morning with a definite 'Finding Nemo' theme, I can still remember hiding from the baraccuda under the kitchen table. Then, a year on in 2005 I visited the boys again while they were staying with their Granny in London for some more pictures. Again, a fabulous time was had by all. Then last week I saw them again and got to meet the new addition to the family, Nicky who is just as much of a cracking little character as his two older brothers.
We had a lovely morning and I got to make mud-pies for the first time in ages, I don't think it gets any better than that.
Hope you enjoy the photographs - a couple of early ones first and then some shots from our most recent get-together
I was just sending an album design to a client and I realised I hadn't put any recent album pictures up here for people to look at. Here are a couple more (and there are some older ones here too if you click on the product photos archieve). The new website which should go live in a couple of months will have more product photographs displayed but in the meantime here are a few shots of the albums and the mini copies for you to see
I have always loved a good game of hide and seek - from the day my brothers told me to hide in the laundry basket and then left me there unable to get out to the evenings staying with my cousins down in Cornwall and hiding out in the garden in elaborate games late into the evening - I have always thought it was fantastic fun. While playing hide and seek in the park can be tricky to photograph (how to loose your subjects in one easy step) playing in the garden is awesome and this was one of my favorite games that I played with Faisal's children last week. We spent a wonderful morning with hide and seek, football, boomerangs and the cuddly animals Jessie and Snowy among other entertainments and we have a set of fantastic pictures. Here are a few of my favorites, I hope you enjoy them
