searching for fairies

Tom and I are just back from a fantastic week in New York (more about this in a future post) and as I wait for dinner to be cooked I thought I would add a post and begin to try to clear my pre-trip backlog. This was an absolutely fantastic day, Mia and Freya were a real joy to photograph and we had such a great time looking for fairies in the park. In the end we decided they probably lived in the big trees....

Recent day in the sunshine

Looking out of my window this morning as it pours with rain I can hardly remember the lovely sunny days we have had recently (although as a grumpy photographer I do have a real thing for nice grey overcast weather). So, I thought I would post from a shoot on one of those blistering days we have had and which are sure to return as the summer progresses. This was a fabulous shoot - such great kids, we had such fun and the picture of Emily and George on the trampoline is definitely a recent favorite - who knows, maybe it will end up as picture of the month next month, we shall have to see what the next couple of weeks bring...

Laurence and his cousins

It was great fun photographing Laurence and his parents, we had such fun. This was the second time I had met Laurence who is such a lovely smiley baby - a few weeks previously I had taken some photographs at a big family get together where he got to meet all his cousins.
