Day in the Life photography - part 3
For those who have been reading the blog this month, you will know about the 'Day in the Life' photo shoot I did for my friend Rob as part of a personal project to develop my photography skills, try some new things, practice with different kit and generally have a good time taking pictures alongside one of my favourite photographers (Rob is an immensely talented wedding photographer - do take a look at his work here)
Here are the last pictures from the shoot. These were taken on Monday morning, taking Evan off to school and then hanging out with Holly and drinking babychino's by the sea. Bliss.
Thank you so much to Rob and his family for being my guinea pigs, you are all wonderful.

Children's portraits in Kent
Today's post is a children's portrait shoot from a while ago, but such a good one that I decided to put it up today. Why now, you might ask, if it is an old shoot? Well, I took these pictures about a year ago but they were a secret (and a very organised) Christmas present so I had to keep them secret for about eight months. Then, somehow, it seemed odd to post sunny images in January so now that the weather is better, I thought I would bring them out as they are one of my favourite sessions from last year.
I hope you enjoy them...

Honor
It was Honor's sixth birthday at the weekend and, as usual, I had the pleasure of photographing her birthday party.
I will be blogging the pictures in due course but in the meantime, I thought I would post a retrospective of our shoots so far. I hope you enjoy it...

Day in the life photo shoot - part 2
Recently I posted the first installment of a 'Day in the Life' photo shoot which I did with my friend Rob and his family. Part one includes the morning's pictures, chilling out at home. After lunch, we headed out to the woods for some more pictures. As many of you know, woods are one of my all-time favourite locations for portrait sessions as there is so much to do and the backgrounds work brilliantly for photographs.
Evan found the most amazing catapult-shaped piece of wood which will, I am sure, entertain for a while to come. The best toys are the homemade toys...

Portfolio update - children's photography in London and Cambridge
It's an exciting new blog post from me today, and a bit different from my regular posts in which I share my favourite pictures from recent photo shoots. Over the past couple of weeks - between portrait sessions in Cambridge, London and Suffolk - we have been preparing our spring newsletter, which will be beginning to drop through people's letterboxes over the next week or two.
To coincide with the arrival of the newsletter, we have updated the galleries on this website too. I've think that I've taken some cracking shots over the past year, and it's great to now include these pictures in the galleries to reflect my approach to children's portraiture.
We have juggled things around a bit as well. We now have a brand new Babies gallery as well as the Children, Maternity and Newborn and Families sections. It is lovely to have more space to show you some of our favourite baby images.
We do hope you like the new pictures, and continue to enjoy visiting our website.
