Children's party photography
I always feel that the summer has arrived when the children's birthday party season is upon me. Children have parties all year round, but I think it is just that I have a few regular birthday parties that I photograph every year around June and July. To me, they always signal the start of summer (although with the wonderful weather we've had so far this year, it has been feeling pretty summery for a while now).
We had a wonderful day - the best bouncy castle (although I discovered that I don't have the same bouncing stamina that I once did) and lots of fun party games including the Kinder Egg and spoon race, which I plan to use at my own birthday in future.
I hope you enjoy the pictures

Portrait photography in Ealing, Greater London
Something a bit different from me today - some lovely photographs of adults, rather than children. Jean and Robin were given a gift voucher for a portrait session as a 40th wedding anniversary gift, and I was thrilled to be their photographer.
It was lovely to spend some time chatting and taking photographs while admiring their beautiful garden and then exploring the local park.
Here are a few of my favourite images.

Extended family photo shoot in Suffolk
Another trip to Suffolk for today's shoot - I have been getting to know the A14 very well recently!
Also another session where I already knew the family after a previous shoot, so I was really excited to be invited back for an extended family photo shoot. Jayne's family are an absolute delight and to have all the cousins around as well as Darren's mum was just fantastic.
We spent a wonderful morning taking family photographs, playing in the garden - yes, that truly is the coolest garden tree house/horse swing/slide/climbing wall ever! Then we went out to explore in the woods, one of my favourite places to take photographs.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Extended family photo shoot in Cambridge
I first met Vicky and her family a couple of years ago, when I photographed Vicky's extended family as a present for the grandparents. I was delighted to be invited back recently to photograph the other side of the family, this time as a present for Vicky's father. It's such a wonderful gift - pictures really do last for ever.
Here are a few favourites from the day . We played in the garden in Cambridge, capturing many family photographs and also the children playing and enjoying themselves with their cousins, which is what childhood is all about...
