A day with baby James

Posted in Babies at 16:20 on 30/08/2007

As I often say one of the best things about this job is building relationships with my clients - seeing people year on year as their lives develop. The first time I photographed Sarah and Dan was for their engagement portrait, then we had the wedding which was a wondeful day with pictures taken on the steps of the Fitzwilliam museum in Cambridge (one of which you can see in the wedding section of the blog as the cover of the wedding section in Agenda Magazine) and then last week we caught up again to photograph their son James. We had a lovely time playing in the house and garden, here are a few of my favorite pictures. I personally love the tamborine shot, Sarah asked 'I wonder if you will get a picture of his scrunched up face as he chews things' - I think this was what she meant

Lara and her girls

Posted in Babies at 21:52 on 28/08/2007

I had a lovely time with Lara and her two beautiful daughters last week. We enjoyed the early morning light in the gardens behind the house and then came back inside for some more shots when the baby woke up. Here are a few of my favorites.

Sheila, Sam, Sebastian and Oliver

Posted in Maternity at 12:46 on 26/08/2007

I first met Sheila and Sam a while ago now for Shelia's maternity shoot. We spent a wonderful morning taking pictures. My nephew Myles was due at roughly the same time as Sheila and Sam's babies and so it was great to share the excitement.

I then had the pleasure of returning after the twins were born to take some family photographs. What a lovely pair they are, full of giggles and those massive smiles that are so fantastic on small babies, they light up the whole face. I have had such trouble choosing favorites but finally I have narrowed it down to a suitable selection for the blog. I hope you enjoy them

Fun with Hannah and Esme

Posted in Kids at 16:11 on 24/08/2007

I had a lovely time on wednesday with Hannah and Esme. I visited their house in the country and we enjoyed ourselves chasing bubbles in the garden and dancing before heading indoors for lunch. After lunch as the heavens opened we played indoors enjoying the playmobil house (I have always been a big fan of playmobil) and having a tea party. It was fantastic fun and there are so many pictures that I love I have had a hard time choosing a selection for the blog. Here are a few of my favorites.

Christening at Caius

Posted in Parties and Occasion shoots at 17:51 on 21/08/2007

On sunday I had the privilege of photographing Lyndal's son's christening at Gonville and Caius college in Cambridge. It was a wonderful setting for a lovely occasion. Unfortunately we didn't have the summer weather Lyndal had been hoping for but that didn't stop us as we took some portraits after the service in the chapel and around college. Here are some of my favorites from the day
