Family Photography
It seems slightly crazy to be posting summer shots taken on the beach on the last day of September but I have a blog backlog and these pictures are so lovely I don't want to miss them off completely. This is the second day of a summer shoot I did (third day still to come). Wonderful times on the beach, truly the stuff of memories. I love it

PR photography in Kensington
I have previously photographed Delphine's family - and in fact I am looking forward to their autumn shoot in a few weeks time - but in the meantime Delphine needed some PR shots for her website Natural Homeopath and so we met up and spent an hour taking some pictures in the square behind the house. It was so much fun, Delphine is such great company and wonderful to photograph.
Here are a few favorites

As promised, the second part of yesterdays blog post. The 2010 shoot.
I do think it is such a wonderful thing to have a photographic record of childhood - see how the children grow year on year but also see how many expressions and activities stay the same. I am lucky to have such a record of my own childhood and I know how much I appreciate it now.
But anyway, let the pictures tell the story, I hope you enjoy them

The value of regular photo shoots
Firstly, an apology for the blog being so quiet this week, I have been absolutely snowed under. Christmas shoots are already underway and if you are thinking of having pictures in time for Christmas then do get in touch as soon as you can as things are getting very booked up. At the moment we do still have some spaces during half term but they are filling up fast.
So, today's blog post, I have just been processing Linda's pictures from her recent shoot and it inspired me to have a look back through her file and it was so much fun to see how the boys have grown over the last few years - and been joined by a baby sister (As the youngest of four with three older brothers I think this is the ultimate family set up). So todays post is a retrospective seeing how the family has grown.
Do check in again tomorrow to see this years shoot. I hope you enjoy the pictures

Extended family photo shoot
A big family occasion for the blog today. I had been looking forward to this shoot all summer as Anne had booked me way back in May. They wanted some pictures for Anne's mother as a seventieth birthday present and I suggested that I spend a morning with the family taking pictures. This is always my favorite way to do large family groups. We start with the picture of everyone - but then continue to take relaxed portraits as everyone relaxes and enjoys themselves. This way we get a really lovely selection of pictures. I can't wait to put these in an album, they are going to look fantastic.
