Family birthday party photography in Cambridge
I was thrilled to visit Bernadette to photograph Luke's second birthday party with his family. The whole family was there to celebrate with Luke, so it was a great opportunity to capture some relaxed photographs. We spent a lovely morning together taking pictures - a few family group photos and lots of pictures as everyone enjoyed themselves. It's always lovely when large families get together.
I hope you enjoy these pictures from our family photography session in Cambridge.

Family portrait photography in Chislehurst, Kent
As a London-based family photographer, I am often asked to travel to Kent to take family photographs and so I was pleased to jump on the train for the short journey from London to Chislehurst one Sunday morning.
I had a lovely time photographing Jill, her husband, their children and the grandchildren in a large extended family photo shoot in their garden in Chislehurst. We had a great time taking some group family pictures and also taking pictures as the children played. I particularly love the shots of the children with their grandparents - it's always great to include as many members of the family as possible in the pictures.
I do hope you enjoy this selection, some of my favorite pictures from our family photography portrait session in Chislehurst, Kent.

Family photography in Clapham and Wandsworth, London SW4
As a London-based portrait photographer, I often travel to the area fondly known as 'nappy valley' to take photographs of babies and children in Wandsworth and Clapham in South London. These areas are such great places for relaxed family portraiture as there are so many green spaces - both commons are fantastic locations offering lots of variety for different types of pictures.
I spent a wonderful morning with Charles and his family in Clapham taking portraits of his beautiful children and family shots as everyone played together.
I do hope you enjoy this selection of pictures from our family photography session in Clapham and Wandsworth, London SW4.

Beautiful children's portraits taken on-location at home
Today's blog post is the second set of pictures from Filey in Yorkshire. I love taking beautiful children's portraits on-location in family homes and gardens, and I'm very lucky to visit so many beautiful houses and use different architectural features to enhance my images. I particularly like the amazing opportunities offered by big windows to capture the most beautiful photographs of the children.
Here are some favourites from a morning playing 'the window game' - it's amazing how the imagination can combine with a bit of creativity to get some lovely shots! I do hope you like these beautiful children's portraits taken in the boys' home.

Family fun in the garden for portrait photographs
This morning's blog post is another set of pictures from my trip to Filey in Yorkshire this summer. I visited Genevieve and her family in Yorkshire during the summer holidays and there are so many pictures that I love from the three days we spent together that I have to split them into different blog posts.
Here are some children's and family portrait photographs that I love from an afternoon we spent chilling-out in the garden - a fun and relaxed set of pictures that really capture those memories of summer fun.

Playing with bubbles is a favourite summertime game that also creates a wonderful series of photographs

I love this fun series of children's portraits taken whilst climbing in the trees

Lots of giggles whilst playing hide and seek, what a fun way to spend an afternoon taking pictures
