I spent a wonderful sunday recently photographing Jessica's baptism. It was a beautiful ceremony and then we went to a local hotel for the reception where family and friends gathered to celebrate this important day.
Here are a few favorite images from the day
Half term (all three weeks of it) has been wonderful and isn't over yet. I have been out shooting every day and so I do hope you will all forgive me that the blog has been a little neglected these last few weeks.
One of the best things about this time of year is that I am seeing so many old friends, seeing how the children have grown and new siblings have joined the clan.
Those of you who have seen my brochure might recognise Lauren and Alex from there. A few years ago we spent a wonderful day at the park playing with bubbles and at the time their brother Julian was only three weeks old. Today we were back at the park and back playing with bubbles and Julian was running around with them - it was wonderful and here are just a few of my many favorites from the shoot.
I can't wait until next year...
Not only does Serafina have an amazing name she is also a really remarkably cute baby. I spent a wonderful morning crawling around the floor with her playing in the bucket and with a variety of other toys. It was lots of fun. Here are a few favorites from the shoot
I met James about this time last year when we took some pictures as a surprise Christmas present for his dad. It was great to be invited back again this year to take some more pictures and to be joined by both mum and dad and James' new baby sister Catherine who is just as much fun as her big brother. We had a lovely morning although I think the highpoint for James was not the photographer but the fork-lift truck that turned up at the end of the road half way through the shoot - oh so much fun - we could see it over the wall if we looked really hard.
I had the great pleasure of photographing Kay and her family last week, just a few days before her daughter embarked on her gap year trip. It was great fun and wonderful to have Kay's parents with us as well so we could get pictures of the three generations together. The weather was lovely and definitely worth getting up early for the magical sunlight. Here are a few favorites
