Christmas Card shoot
I always look forward to the annual Christmas card shoot with Myles and Tilly. I have been photographing Myles since my first year in business and Tilly from the year after that. They are two of the most delightful children I have ever had the pleasure to photograph and I love to see how they have grown year on year. This years shoot was another great day and here are a few of my many favorites

A day off and my niece's christening
The best thing about being a photographer is that I get to take pictures of my own family. Today was my niece's christening and although I was officially 'off duty' I did take a couple of pictures to mark the occasion. Emily is super cute and I am looking forward to seeing her again soon for some proper portraits.
Here are a couple of images from this morning

It's all about the jumpers - Autumn is definitely here
I do love the winter season and all the lovely woolly jumpers and cute coats, hats and wellinton combinations that my little subjects get to wear. In fact I am seriously considering a move to wellies myself. We had a lovely morning, half indoors and half outside which becomes more common as the days get colder and really is a lovely way to shoot - the pictures have different feels to them and it is great to have lots of variety. The girls were an absolute pleasure to photograph and it was very difficult narrowing down my favorites

Three big brother's is the best
So, I am biased here as I have three big brothers myself and they are just awesome so I was thrilled when Linda and John told me that there new baby Charlotte was a little girl. Charlotte is now almost a year and it was great to finally meet her for our annual photoshoot - she was born only a couple of weeks after our last session. Charlotte has three wonderful older brothers and I know she will have a great time growing up with them. One of my favorite pictures from the whole session is the four kids on the bench with Tim looking proudly at his baby sister, it always makes me think of my big brothers and how lucky I am.
Here are my favorites from the day

If you go down to the woods today....
I love photographing in the woods, particularly on a rainy day. They tend to be incredibly dark areas to shoot in but the light we do have is usually absolutely stunning. Woods are also awesome fun, there are so many things to do - things to look at, things to climb on, things to build. Here are some shots from a wonderful woody shoot.
