Christmas card photo shoot

There are some photo shoots that I look forward to all year and this one - with Myles and Tilly - is definitely one of those. I first photographed Myles when he was about fifteen months old and we have done the Christmas cards every year since. It is such a pleasure to see the kids each autumn, see how they have grown and how their personalities develop. They are always a real pleasure to spend time with and this year was no exception, I hope you like the pictures

Children's photography in Crystal Palace

I spent a wonderful morning with Flyn taking his portrait photos at Crystal Palace park. I used to go to the park to see the dinosaurs when I was little and so I was incredibly excited to go back. The dinosaurs were bigger than I remember but somehow less real and, for some odd reason, I had thought they were red. It is odd how childhood memories distort reality.

We had a lovely time and Flyn was an absolute natural in front of the camera.

Baby photography in London

Another lovely crisp autumn day and another beautiful baby to photograph. I was so pleased to meet Rachael and her lovely family at their flat near the Thames. We started at home using window light and then headed down to the river to make use of the wonderful autumn light and the great locations that abound on the South Bank.

Spotlight headshot photography in London

I spent a wonderful afternoon with Sam last week taking his headshot photographs for spotlight out and about in London. We spent a couple of hours photographing in the park and then exploring the streets nearby. I think we must have been in the embassy district, we certainly saw some absolutely spectacular cars! It was great fun and the pictures have come out so well. Here are a few of my favorites

Family photo shoot in Suffolk

Keeping with the recent Suffolk theme on the blog (I often group my shoots in other parts of the country so I can stay over night between shoots to cut down on the travel), here are some favorites from my latest shoot with Honor and Arthur. It is the time of year for Christmas cards and I am seeing lots of long term subjects at the moment - always a great pleasure to be going back for my second shoot, even more fun when I am returning for my fifth, sixth or even ninth, tenth and eleventh.
