Newborn baby twins portrait session in Kensington and Chelsea, London W8
As a London photographer who specialises in pictures of families, children, babies and newborn babies, I was thrilled to be invited back by Marina and Stephane to take some photographs of the new additions to their family.
I first met Marina and Stephane in the summer when I visited them at their Kensington home for some family photography in West London and some pictures of their beautiful little boy. We had a wonderful time taking lovely relaxed family photographs and portraits at their Kensington home and then in Holland Park W11.
When I visited again recently, it was to meet their two beautiful newborn twins for some photographs that captured them while they were still tiny and newborn. As always, I worked in black and white using natural light to capture lovely timeless photographs of the boys at home in Kensington.
Here are some of my favourite newborn photographs from our family and newborn baby photo shoot in Kensington, London W8.

Children's and family photographer in Woking, Surrey
This is the third time I have been lucky enough to visit Samantha and Mark at their beautiful home in Woking, Surrey G22 to take some family photographs for them. It is always such a delight to see my regular clients and wonderful to see how the boys have changed and to chat about all their new hobbies and interests.
We had a great time playing rugby, football and cricket while taking lovely family photographs outside in natural light and then went indoors for some pictures of the boys playing their instruments - the cello and the clarinet. They were such lovely activities for relaxed family photographs and I am thrilled with the pictures from our portrait session.

Helen Bartlett Photography at One Bigg Spooky Party
Helen Bartlett Photography took part in a fantastic event yesterday called One Bigg Spooky Party. Fulham Palace was transformed into a halloween extravaganza with cobwebs, mice, bats, balloons and pumpkins galore decorating the grounds. Over 500 witches, goblins, zombies, superheroes and ghoulish ghosts (and their parents) filled the Palace on a glorious autumn day, and were entertained by numerous children's birthday party entertainers including Sharky and George, Mad Science and our friend Anna at Snapdragon Face Painting, who had the longest queue for her amazing face-painting throughout the day.
The Celebrity Reptiles Animal Encounters also made a massive impression - we could hear the children shrieking in delight from our stand! They had enormous tarantulas and a huge python, which the children were allowed to hold in a long line extending over 12 feet long - it was quite a sight! There was also pumpkin decorating, apple-pressing and dance displays outside in the grounds.
A special mention must go to our stilt-walking friend at Bertie and Boo, who was a very big (and very tall) fan of Helen Bartlett Photography!
Kath, Tom and I had a wonderful time at the event and enjoyed meeting lots of new people, and also catching-up with clients who were visiting with their families. We showcased many examples of Helen's work as a photographer of children's birthday parties in London, and also as a family and children's photographer. Here are some photos I took during the day, and we will let you know via the blog when we're taking part in future events as it was so much fun.

Children's and family portrait photography in Notting Hill W11
I was thrilled to visit Jon and his family recently in their Notting Hill home to take some family photographs. We had a great time, playing in the garden with their lovely dog Mabel and playing indoors - including a game of Monopoly which has certainly changed since my day (don't I feel old, they have credit cards now!)
I am thrilled with this set of beautiful children's portraits, which were all taken using natural light to get the best lovely relaxed portrait photographs. I hope you enjoy looking at this set of family and children's portrait photographs from Notting Hill, Holland Park and Westbourne Grove, London W11.

I love this relaxed, fun family portrait of everyone laughing and giggling together

This is one of my favourite pictures from the day - the quality of light on autumn mornings is just beautiful
