Photo session at the park

This time of year always gets a bit chaotic and so apologies that the blog isn't being updated as much as usual. Here the Christmas rush is fully underway - we can always tell when the festive season is upon us in my house as the living room gets filled up with picture frames and every available surface is covered with prints and Christmas cards. Very busy but so much fun.

I sent out Sophy's Christmas cards last week which reminded me that I hadn't blogged her session and there are so many pictures that I love so it would be a shame to miss it completely.

New photography website

I am so thrilled today that my new website has finally become a reality. It seems a long time since I sat down and decided it was time for a revamp, mainly because it has been so hard to choose the images for the galleries. Many old favorites have had to go but there is loads of great new stuff in the galleries for you to look at.

I need to thank the wonderful Tom for making the website, he has done everything - all the design and layout and all the website techy stuff that I don't understand. I hope you have time to check out Tom's site which is linked from the weddings section.

I am also particularly pleased with the products page which has been designed to make it easier for my clients to make decisions on what final products to choose with pictures of the frames, albums and other products to look at.

The sample galleries section is another new feature. This has been created so prospective clients can get a really good feel for how the sessions go and the types of pictures that I take. This section has three complete shoots and one which is a montage of numerous shoots of the same child over a number of years, they are great fun. I shall be adding some more sample shoots soon.

'WOW! They are beautiful'

I have always felt that albums are one of the best ways to display the pictures from my photo shoots. We are able to tell the story of the day and produce a really fantastic piece of art.

Finn and Belle

I had a lovely morning with Finn and Belle for our yearly Christmas Card shoot. I have been lucky enough to photograph Finn for the last four consecutive years and Belle for the last three and they are delightful children, really good fun.
