Merry Christmas to you all!
I hope that everyone has had a wonderful Christmas. Here I have had a great Christmas and have enjoyed a few days away from the office after dropping off my last set of prints on Christmas eve morning and a frantic trip to Oxford street in the afternoon which always heralds the beginning of the festive season.
We were lucky enough to spend Christmas with my brother Richard and his family. As always, a wonderful time was had by all and Lucy did us proud with an amazing day.
Between eating vast amounts of Lucy's wonderful cooking, taking the dog (and the children) for a walk, watching Wallace and Gromit and a rather extended snooze in front of Bugsy Malone I did manage to take a few pictures.
Here are some favorites, I think Giles and Honor laughing on the sofa wins the competition for my particular favorite, closely followed by Arthur's modeling of the 'facial hair kit'.
I hope you enjoy them
I have known Murray for as long as I can remember. He has been my brother William's best friend since secondary school and so has become a family friend too. We all go to the pub together on Christmas eve, our parents are friends, all the good things. So it was a great pleasure to spend the morning with Murray today and to meet his wife Marianne and their new baby Nico. Murray and his family are over in the UK for Christmas and it was the perfect time for a photo session - particularly as we had the proud grandparents around too.
Nico was a joy to photograph, a really smiley little boy which was incredibly impressive considering jet-lag. I have so many pictures that I love but I promised I would get a few online today and these are my absolute favorites.
This will be my last pre-Christmas blog post as tomorrow it is Christmas shopping time, think of me on Oxford street at quarter to four running around like a mad thing.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Enjoy the pictures
I spent a lovely morning with Emily last week taking some PR photographs which will be used for publicising her new book. I was really excited about this shoot after hearing that Emily has written a crime thriller based in Cambridge - as an avid reader I am really looking forward to it. We had a cold misty day to work with which was fantastic and the atmospheric feel really adds to the pictures.
Here are a few of my favorites.
My great friend Helen is back in England for a few days at the moment and so it was lovely to pop round and spend a morning chatting with her and photographing her lovely son Charlie and any other family members who happened to be around. As always it was lots of fun and here are a few of my favorites.
I first met Mark and Samantha a couple of years ago now when I went to photograph their two sons and so it was with great pleasure that I headed back recently to meet the latest edition to their family and spend a morning photographing their family. The boys are great fun, such a good laugh and so full of energy and fun. We had a wonderful time playing indoors and outside, it has been really hard to narrow down the pictures and just choose a few for the blog.
