Paul gets his PhD

I was very pleased (and very proud) when our good friend Paul got his PhD recently. Paul and I did the MPhil together here at Cambridge but being much more dedicated than me he continued on with Medieval History rather than deviating to photography and is now Dr Webster. When the day came for the ceremony I couldn't leave him to the mercy of the tradition 'graduation' pictures complete with mottled blue backgrounds and fake scroll so we met up at his college, Peterhouse, to take a few pictures. As we were shooting we were joined by our friends Burt, Sarah and Matt who have also all finished their doctorates. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day.
