Poppy and Edward's growing-up gallery
The best thing about my job is that I am invited to visit families again and again, and am able to observe the children growing up each time I return for regular portrait sessions. I have been photographing Poppy since she was just a bump and so I was particularly pleased to meet her little brother last year. This gallery follows Poppy (and the arrival of Edward) over the past four years. I hope you enjoy it.
A day in the life of Myles and Emily
Some of my clients prefer to book an extended portrait session to photograph an entire 'day in the life' of their family. These shoots are great fun. We're together from breakfast until bedtime, capturing all the little day-to-day things (and yes, birthday cake is a day-to-day occurrence in this family as baking and decorating cakes are some of Myles' favourite things). I love to capture the special moments - spot Emily's faltering first steps even with one leg in plaster - as well as the everyday, like the children collapsed in front of CBeebies at the end of the afternoon.

Esme's morning in the park
A typical portrait session with me lasts a morning, which is always the very best time of day to go to the park. We have wonderful light and everything to ourselves. I met Esme and her mum in Cambridge just as the gardens opened and we spent a wonderful couple of hours running around, with just a little break for juice and gingerbread.
Maia's morning with Mum and Dad
Maia was nine months old for this, her second portrait session. We had a lovely morning playing in the house and then, when the weather improved a bit, we went outdoors for some fresh air and fun at playground. Maia is such a beautiful baby; I can’t wait for our next session.

I love to photograph in the woods - the light is magical, and there are always so many things to find and do. I spent a wonderful morning with Caroline and her girls - exploring, digging, den-building and generally having a wonderful, muddy time.
