Portrait products, services & prices

All prices include VAT and are valid for three months from the date of your portrait session. A ten percent discount applies to orders placed at your viewing session.

Portrait session fees

These prices refer to shoots in London or Cambridge. I shoot on location either in my client's home or at a mutually agreed venue, such as a local park. I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK although an extra charge will apply to cover my expenses and also the extra time involved in traveling to and from the destination.

Albums

Albums have become the most popular way for our clients to display their images, reflecting an album's unparalleled ability to tell a story. After each portrait session we will suggest an album layout for your consideration, which will contain the majority of the images from your shoot designed to reflect your pictures at their absolute best.

The albums themselves are beautifully made; photographic prints are heat-sealed onto thick card pages, which gives your album a luxurious feel while being durable enough to stand the test of time.

When ordered in conjunction with a 12" x 12" feature album, 6" x 6" mini-copies are also available. Made to the same exacting standards, these scaled-down versions are the perfect gift for grandparents, godparents and extended family. Due to the popularity of ordering both feature and mini-albums, we have created a package at a discounted combined price.

Unframed prints

Unframed prints are a cost-effective way to buy a number of images and the perfect option if you wish to display your pictures using your own frames or photo albums.

We print using fine art papers of the quality usually found in art galleries and museums. The papers also comply with the highest archival standards, ensuring that your prints will look great for years to come.

Framed prints

We have three 'house' frames; fine-grained tulip wood finished in black or white, or natural oak. These frames are complimented with an off-white window mount. Printed using the highest quality fine art papers, prints are heat-sealed onto a backing board to preserve their quality.

If you require a bespoke frame, we work closely with a superb made-to-measure art framing company and will create the perfect frame for you.

Multi-aperture frames

Multi-aperture frames are a very popular option and we'll present you with some suggested layouts for multi-aperture frames at your viewing session. All frames are made-to-measure so almost any layout is possible.

Canvas wraps

Canvas wraps are a wonderful way to display your images and are a contemporary alternative to traditional picture frames. Our canvas wraps are designed to last - the canvas is mounted onto board to ensure it remains taut, and the canvas is sealed to protect its surface. If you have the wall space, a sequence of canvas wraps creates a stunning centrepiece.

Aluminum floating mount

Your chosen print is mounted onto a sheet of polished aluminum and finished with a matt-effect sealant for a very contemporary finish. The metal is visible around the edge of the image, and it is mounted onto a sub frame that secures the picture to the wall, creating the appearance of it floating on the wall. This finish looks absolutely stunning in modern homes.

Tray frame

Our tray frames have no glass or window mount, and offer a combination of a wooden frame with a modern finish. Your image is mounted onto a lightweight composite of aluminum and PVC, which is incredibly strong whilst still being lightweight. A matt sealant is then applied to the image, and it is then set within a wooden tray frame. The narrow edge of the wooden frame is visible when viewed from the front, with a deeper edge around the sides.

Acrylic reverse

Your artwork is backed with black or white acrylic, and then clear acrylic is mounted onto the surface of the print, which extends the archival life of the artwork. The edges are also diamond polished for a smooth, glossy finish. The acrylic reserve is hung using a metal sub frame, giving it the appearance of it floating on the wall.

Print-ready digital files

If you would like the freedom to make your own prints, our processed print-ready digital files are the ideal product. Your images will be processed to the same high standards that we use for our own prints and, for your convenience, each image is resized to our usual print sizes so you can upload them to your lab's website with ease.

Many clients also like the peace of mind of knowing that they have the complete set of processed images from their portrait session for any reprints they may wish to make in years to come (we undertake to preserve your images for twelve months only).
