Children’s portrait photography taken on location in Hammersmith and Fulham, West London.

30Oct

The autumn is such a lovely time for me as a London-based children and family photographer, as it’s this time of year that I’m lucky enough to see so many of my regular clients as they arrange photo shoots in time for Christmas gifts. I was thrilled when Rebecca contacted us to book her photo session – our fourth children and family photo shoot – in Hammersmith and Fulham in West London.

I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Rebecca’s boys over the years and it is lovely to see how grown up and independent they are becoming. I was so impressed to hear the older boys had flown to America on their own this year (who knew British Airways has a kids-only departure lounge filled with toys and cool stuff, how incredible is that!). I don’t think I would have been able to do that at their age – it’s wonderful to hear how the children have these incredible opportunities and rising to the challenges with such aplomb.

We spent our morning closer to home, in Ravenscourt Park in West London. It’s a lovely park with some really nice areas of lawn and a lot of wonderful playgrounds – the boys were very keen on the playgrounds.

We had a great time running about, and playing on all the different activities. I love how Oliver, the youngest, needs to do everything his brothers do – a trait I think I had myself when I was younger, and which led to the infamous ‘skate-boarding incident’ when I was two. It’s brilliant being the youngest of four!

It was great fun at Ravenscourt Park capturing our children’s portrait photographs, with shots of the boys playing together and then when it neared lunchtime, we headed home for a few sneaky shots at home on the water slide in the back garden before the boys needed to eat lunch.

It was a brilliant morning and I’m thrilled with the pictures. I hope you like them from our children’s portrait photography session in Ravenscourt Park in Hammersmith and Fulham, West London W14.
