Children’s portrait photography in Woodford Green, Essex

26Jun

I’m often being asked what happens when it rains during portrait session and my answer is always the same – we shoot indoors, we maybe go out for a bit of jumping in puddles wearing wellies, and we do lots of other fun activities. Rainy shoots are often very varied and always result in lovely pictures.

This shoot was no exception – Lucy has the most beautiful house but little Emily just wanted to be outdoors, running around even though it went from drizzle to downpour over the course of the morning.

We played both indoors and outdoors over the course of the morning, and captured some lovely fun outdoor pictures as well as lovely shots indoors, the tunnel pictures are particular favourites of mine. Emily was such a delight to photograph, so full of fun and laughter.

I have to admit though, it’s the last picture that is my favourite – one of my favourites of the year in fact as it seems to sum up spring and summer of 2012 so well. I call it ‘drought’!

I hope you enjoy it and the rest of these photographs from our children’s portrait shoot in Woodford Green in Essex.
