Newborn baby photography in Brockley, South London

18Apr

There are days when I love my job and days when I LOVE my job. Today was in the second camp.

I have been lucky enough to know Mary for twenty two years since we met performing in Thomas Tallis School’s fine drama production of Hiawatha (we wore brown sacks, fake plaits made out of wool and did a lot of chanting if memory serves). We have been friends ever since and I am so very lucky to have such a wonderful friend.

I was thrilled when Mary and Joe announced they were having a baby and quick to get myself in the diary for a newborn shoot when little Luke arrived. Just four days out of hospital he is one of the cutest babies I have ever seen and the sheer amount of love in the room was incredible. I felt like one of the luckiest people alive today – it’s great seeing friends so happy and a real privilege to be able to capture these moments for them in pictures they can keep for ever.

So here are a few favorites from today, I do hope you like them..
