Zoe's headshots: preview

Posted in Headshots at 13:52 on 27/03/2007

This is a great time of year for photography. It is getting warmer and yet the sun is not as harsh as it is in the middle of the summer, instead we have really beautiful light particularly at the beginning and end of the day. These shots are for Zoe's website that is currently being designed by Jane at Catfish Web Design in Cambridge. Zoe is setting up a business as a copywriter. Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Maggie's headshots

Posted in Headshots at 16:08 on 26/03/2007

I had the great pleasure of photographing my friend Dr Magdeline Pokar last week. Maggie is the managing director of ResearchSEA Ltd which provides information on research from Asia to journalists and members of the public in the UK. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the session

Poppy Power!

Posted in Babies at 16:07 on 23/03/2007

I had a lovely time photographing Poppy the other day and it has resulted in some rare colour photos from me. Usually I prefer black and white for my children's portraits as I feel the pictures are much more timeless and I love the look of classic black and white photography. These pictures however just screamed colour at me, all pink and fluffy, and so in colour they have remained. I hope you enjoy them.

Fun baby shoot

Posted in Babies at 14:22 on 19/03/2007

I had a lovely time photographing Reuben last week. We got to play indoors with Sophie the Giraffe (the most popular French toy ever apparently) and with the family cat before a brief mid-shoot nap and then outside to explore the nearby lanes. What a great way to spend the day.

Fantastic fun with the boys

Posted in Kids at 14:55 on 15/03/2007

I had a fabulous time yesterday with Max, Jack and William. We spent a few hours playing with all their great toys (I really want one of those Thomas the Tank Engine tents) and taking lots of photographs. It has been so hard to choose a few favorites but these ones just jumped out at me as I looked through.
