Speaking at The Photography Show 2018

16Feb

I’m thrilled to announce that I have been asked to present on the subject of ‘Great Family Photos and How to Take Them’ on the Canon Stage at The Photography Show at the NEC in Birmingham this March.

I am on at the following times and the talk is free (although you do require a ticket to enter the show):

Saturday 17 March 2018 10:30 – 11:20
Monday 19 March 2018 13:30 – 14:20
Tuesday 20 March 2018 15:30 – 16:20

It’s always such an honour to be asked to speak and to be sharing my knowledge and experience with my fellow professionals. The Photography Show is a brilliant event, a huge trade show filled to the brim with all the latest photography equipment – cameras, bags, tripods, you name it, it will be there. In the last five years there has also been an increasingly impressive selection of talks and seminars from leading lights in the industry both in the UK and from around the world.

The NEC in Birmingham works brilliantly as a venue and because everything is under one roof it has become the go-to event in the UK for photographers professional and amateur alike.

I’ve been there for the duration every year for a while now as I always help my husband on the stand for his incredibly helpful business software for professional photographers, Light Blue. Each year it’s so wonderful to catch up with so many friends and make so many new ones in the wider photographic community.

To be asked to talk on the Canon Stage is fantastic.

My talk – ‘Great Family Photos and How to Take Them’ – will have something for both the seasoned professional and also for the many keen amateurs who attend the show and want to take better pictures of their children. I will be packing my 45 minute slot with all the information that I can, so that my audience can go away and implement things they have learnt to improve their photography and will also be inspired to take their photography to new heights.

I hope to see many of you there, and for those of you who came to my talk at the SWPP, this will be a different talk so please do come and see me again, it will be lovely to have faces I know in the audience.

In the meantime, any questions, just pop a comment below or drop me an email.
