Family photography in Rock, Cornwall

12Oct

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my job is the variety of different locations that I visit to take photographs, and so I was thrilled to arrange to be in Rock in Cornwall taking pictures over the August bank holiday weekend.

Many of my clients visit Cornwall for their summer holidays and I plan to make an annual trip to Rock, capturing pictures of the children enjoying their holidays and having a wonderful time exploring all that Rock has to offer.

I woke up on my first morning full of beans and ready to hit the beach, and my enthusiasm wasn’t dampened by the torrential rain – this is an English seaside holiday spot, after all.

We headed straight out on the boat – rain never stops play! After a bit of charioting (which uses a giant half-doughnut shaped inflatable if you haven’t come across one before, I hadn’t!), we headed back to the house for bacon sandwiches and hot chocolate.

The rain then started to abate, so we wrapped-up warm and headed outdoors again, and had an amazing second half to the shoot, with even a short spell of sunshine!

I do hope you enjoy the pictures from my summer photo shoot in Rock in Cornwall. There will be more pictures to follow on the blog from other shoots from the wonderful four day stay.
