CameraWorld Live London October 27th 2018

16Oct

I'll be giving a talk at London's biggest camera show

Time is flying by this year. It feels like only yesterday that we were in the middle of the heatwave and I admit I am still in denial that summer is gone, it’s drizzling out there and I need to buy a coat.  I do love this season though as the days get a little colder – it’s the season of thick jumpers, kicking leaves in the park and long walks in the countryside marvelling at the low winter light.  It’s great for photography.

It’s also a great season for learning as dark evenings see me snuggled on the sofa with photography books, gleaning inspiration from the masters of photography past and present and learning new skills.  It’s also a season that sees me teaching – at Photokina earlier in the month and in a couple of weeks here in London at CameraWorld Live.

On Saturday 27thOctober I’ll be at CameraWorld Live in the City joining fellow professionals to bring our expertise to a new audience.

CameraWorld Live is London’s biggest camera show and is open to professional and amateur photographers. There will be all the top brands showing their latest equipment from the Camera manufacturers such as Canon (who will be sponsoring my talk as I am there in my role as a Canon ambassador) and also tripod makers, camera bags, filters, all the cool stuff.

There are lots of great seminars you can attend from portraits to landscapes, from lighting to motorsports.  It will be a fantastic and inspirational day.

I will be talking about Great Family Photos and How to Take Them.  It’s a talk that is designed to have something for everyone, both seasoned professionals and keen amateurs.  I’ll also be highlighting a few of the fantastic elements of the new Canon EOS R which I have been lucky enough to use extensively this year as I was one of the first people in the world to test the camera.  For those of you interested in the new kit I’ll also be around on the Canon stand during the day and happy to answer any questions (and you can also read my review of the EOS R on the website).

It promises to be a brilliant day and I hope to see lots of you there.
