It is always particularly exciting when I get to photograph something new and so I was very pleased when I arrived to photograph Arthur and Honor for their Christmas Card this year when Lucy told me they were going to have a massive bonfire – and she wasn’t kidding, it was enormous!
We started off with some pictures in the garden, playing in the leaves and then as the light began to fall we moved over into the field where Richard had the biggest bonfire I have ever seen. It was great fun and the kids were mesmerized both by the fire and by their first ever experience with sparklers. It made for wonderful pictures and a wonderful day. Here are a few of my many favorites.
