MY INSPIRATION – my dad’s Christmas portrait of me
Sometimes on the blog I like to share images that inspire me, often images taken by my father who was an incredibly talented photographer and who taught me the love of this medium as a child. We spent hours in the darkroom together developing film and making prints and his endless patience ensured that I learnt to love making photographs.
This image is of me and it's one of my all time favourites. I often come back to it at this time of year as it makes me think back to my wonderful childhood. I hope that the images that I take of families now will be as special to them as the children grow up.
